Links for the Thursday 3 May 2007 Meeting

  • What's a Faithmap?

    • Here I try to suggest a balanced approach to theology.

  • The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy

    • Perhaps the finest statement on the topic.

  • The Creeds

    • Here's a location where you can find links to some major Christian creeds.

  • Dr. S Lewis Johnson

    • Hundreds of hours of downloadable or streaming audio from the late Dr. Johnson who for 25 years was a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. I've been listening to his tapes and now his MP3s for 20 years. A fantastic and brilliant teacher.

I was excited leaving today at what God will do with us and I feel blessed to be a part of the group God has brought together.

On inerrancy: did a little poking around the WWW. I noticed a lot or most commentators used a tougher defintion than Grudem used. Rather than "not contrary to fact" I saw most definitions directed to "without any error: scientifically, historically, or otherwise" ... Allan

Hey Steve - thanks for the servant heart & leading us through some deeper waters. BTW - The Dr. S Lewis Johnson link seems to be bad. Is this link [http://www.believers-chapel.org/temp/online.htm] what you meant? ... Ramon
